Homemade Pizza


Pizza Dough

Pizza sauce (recipe below for inspiration!)


Veggies (Peppers, onions, mushrooms etc)

Meats (pepperoni, sausage, bacon etc)

Ingredients for Pizza Sauce:

1 large onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

2 cans (28 ounces) basil crushed tomatoes

2 cans (14.5 ounces each) basil, garlic and oregano diced tomatoes

1 cup Merlot wine

¼ cup packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon dried basil

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning

2 teaspoons garlic salt

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper


1. For the pizza sauce: In the 4-quart American Kitchen saucepan, combine all ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.

2. Bake Pizza dough according to package on American Kitchen Nonstick Baking Sheet

3. Top pizza dough with your favorite toppings, bake again according to dough package

4. Slice and enjoy!
