Sautéed Mushrooms and Onions
2 packages (8 ounces each) sliced fresh mushrooms
1-1/2 cups sliced onions
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon garlic salt

In the American Kitchen® 8-inch stainless steel skillet, combine butter and oil; cook until butter is melted. Add the mushrooms and onions, cook until onions are tender. Add the Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt; toss to coat. Serve with eggs, steak or on burgers. Yield: 2 cups or approximately 4 servings.

Tips for Mushrooms and Onions Recipe
• This recipe can be made using any kind of fresh mushroom.
• Mushrooms are like sponges – they suck up any moisture. If you wash them, they will get waterlogged. To clean them, use a damp paper towel or brush them off with a pastry brush.
• Mushrooms even have a lot of water in them naturally. When you cook them, water will seep out. Cook over medium-high heat to get rid of all the liquid. It will also give your mushrooms a nice brown color.

    I’ve been cooking with this pan since October 2015 and been enjoying it thoroughly. Furthermore, these pans are so easy to clean, actually as easy as Teflon, but I soak them in warm soapy water first. I also strongly recommend using the SOFT version of barkeeper friend because the regular formula is so harsh that it scratched the fry pan. Soft cleanser is much better.

    Ordered this pan to replace a non stick pan. I don’t want to be using Teflon anymore. This pan is amazing. I make my eggs in this pan with a little bit a cooking spray. They side right out. Better then my old pan. Also cleans up great.

    Just got this and the 10″ fry pan – outstanding quality and craftsmanship, nice to find quality cookware that is still made in USA – will be replacing all of current cookware with American Kitchen over this upcoming year – these are my new “go to pans” have now thrown out my old non-stick. Highly recommend A+++++
